Whether your goal is to get back to playing 18 holes of golf, walking the cobblestone streets of Europe, or shaving time off your next half-marathon, learn to improve your movement quality and efficiency using a comprehensive Parkinson's-specific exercise approach.
Features:
Dr. Beck is a ABPTS Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist. She incorporates Parkinson's-specific amplitude training as a PWR!Moves® Certified Therapist. Additional modalities include strength training, balance training, cardiovascular exercise, flexibility and postural training, voice projection, and cognitive training.
Ideal for:
- Anyone with a new diagnosis of Parkinson's disease
- Addressing functional goals such as improving walking, running, strength, posture, balance, and transfers (sit to stand from a chair, on/off the floor, on/off your horse, etc).
- Developing a personalized, Parkinson's-specific exercise plan
After an initial round of therapy (typically 4-6 weeks), reassessments and skilled tune-ups are recommended for clients with Parkinson's every six months
Neurologic Physical Therapy Services Are Offered:
- One-to-one format
- In person or online via telehealth
- Available to clients living in or visiting North Carolina
Investment:
- Evaluation (60 min) $220
- Follow-ups (60 min) $160
We are participating providers with Medicare Part B and will submit claims for covered PT services to Medicare on your behalf. We do not participate with other insurances, but can provide you with treatment codes if you have out-of-network benefits.
